Is the first session free?
Not the full session, but a 15-minute intro call is free. You and your student can ask questions, see if it clicks, and decide from there.
Where do in-person sessions happen?
Either your home (with a parent present at all times) or a quiet table at an Edmond Public Library branch. We'll pick what works for you.
How do online sessions work?
Over Zoom, with screen-share and a digital whiteboard for working through problems together. Most students prefer it after one or two tries.
How does payment work?
Pay at the end of each session by Venmo, Zelle, or cash. No prepaid packages, no contracts.
Which grades and subjects do you tutor?
Middle school through high school. ACT and SAT, math through pre-calculus and calculus, science, and English. If I'm not the right fit for a niche subject, I'll say so up front.
How quickly do you reply?
Usually within a few hours on weekday afternoons and evenings, and most of the day on weekends. School comes first for me too, but I won't leave you hanging.
What if a session isn't helpful?
Tell me. We'll figure out what to change. If it turns out I'm not the right fit, I'll point you to someone who is. You only pay for time that helped.
